Ingredients
- 3-4 pound pork roast
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
Directions
- Place the pork roast in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, combine the onion, garlic, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture on the pork roast.
- Add the chicken broth to the slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker and set the temperature to low. Cook for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
- Remove the pork from the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board. Use two forks to pull the pork apart into shreds.
- Serve with your favorite sides and sauces.
