Ingredients

  • 3-4 pound pork roast
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Directions

  1. Place the pork roast in the slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the onion, garlic, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture on the pork roast.
  3. Add the chicken broth to the slow cooker.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set the temperature to low. Cook for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
  5. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board. Use two forks to pull the pork apart into shreds.
  6. Serve with your favorite sides and sauces.
