This raspberry inferno sauce is a perfect combination of sweet and spicy flavors. It's great for drizzling over desserts, grilled meats, or even as a dipping sauce. The heat from the jalapenos adds a unique kick to the traditional raspberry sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine raspberries, jalapeno, sugar, water, lime juice, lime zest, and salt.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until raspberries break down and sauce thickens, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Transfer mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
  5. Strain sauce through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
  6. Serve warm or chilled over your favorite dessert or grilled meats.
