Ingredients
- 10 jalapenos
- 1/2 cup Mexican cheese blend, shredded
- 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove seeds and ribs.
- In a medium bowl, mix together cheese, bacon, cream cheese, red onion, cilantro, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff jalapenos with cheese mixture and top with bread crumbs.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add jalapenos to skillet and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
- Transfer jalapenos to a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot.
