Ingredients

  • 1 lb spicy sausage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the spicy sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from the pot and set aside.
