Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, jalapeno pepper, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, dried oregano, dried basil, and dried thyme. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  3. Place the breadcrumbs in a shallow dish.
  4. Dip each ball into the beaten eggs, then roll it in the breadcrumbs, making sure it is coated evenly.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large saucepan to 350°F (175°C).
