Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Celery sticks
  • Blue cheese dressing

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the wings cook evenly and become crispy.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
  4. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Place the coated wings on the wire rack on the baking sheet, making sure to leave space between them.
  6. Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown.
  7. While the wings are baking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a small bowl, combine the hot sauce, melted butter, and honey. Mix well.
  8. Remove the wings from the oven and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  9. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss them gently to coat them evenly.
  10. Return the coated wings to the wire rack on the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  11. Remove the wings from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  12. Serve the spicy buffalo wings with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for dipping. Enjoy!
