These spicy and savory buffalo wontons are the perfect appetizer to satisfy your cravings. Filled with a mixture of ground chicken, hot sauce, and cream cheese, these crispy wontons pack a punch of flavor. Serve them with a side of blue cheese dipping sauce for an extra kick. With a prep time of just 20 minutes, you can easily whip up a batch of these crowd-pleasing snacks for your next gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing, for dipping

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, hot sauce, cream cheese, green onions, and crumbled blue cheese. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it diagonally to form a triangle. Press the edges firmly to seal the wonton.
  3. In a deep frying pan, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully place the wontons in the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  4. Serve the buffalo wontons hot with a side of blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing for dipping. Enjoy!
