Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 pound spaghetti, broken into thirds
- 2 cups beef broth
Directions
- Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode, and add the olive oil and onion. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onion is softened.
- Add the garlic, and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
- Add the ground beef, and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring and breaking up the meat, until it is browned.
- Stir in the tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and water. Mix until combined.
- Add the mixture to the Instant Pot, and stir to combine.
- Add the spaghetti, and stir to combine. Pour the beef broth over the top, and stir to combine.
- Secure the lid, and set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 5 minutes.
- Once the cooking cycle is complete, quick release the pressure, and open the lid.
- Stir the spaghetti and meatballs, and serve.
