Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, shredded
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the onions, garlic, and cabbage and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the flour and stir for 1 minute.
  3. Slowly add the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve warm.
