Ingredients

  • 3-4 pound beef brisket
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup molasses

Directions

  1. Combine garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl and mix to combine. Rub the mixture evenly all over the brisket.
  2. Place the brisket in the slow cooker and add the apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, ketchup, and molasses. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Once the brisket is cooked, shred the meat with two forks and serve.
