Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
4 slices Swiss cheese
4 slices sourdough bread
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon BBQ sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steak and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
Add the onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
Lower the heat to low and add the cheese and stir until melted, about 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and set aside.
Spread the mayonnaise and BBQ sauce on each slice of bread and season with salt and pepper.
Top two slices with the steak mixture and the other two slices on top.
Serve and enjoy!
