Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) honey
  • 1 teaspoon (5 mL) ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 pound (450 g) snow peas, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sesame oil and garlic, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add the shrimp to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the soy sauce, honey, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes to the pan, and stir to combine. Add the snow peas, and cook until they are crisp-tender, about 2 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
