Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped mushrooms, onions, and garlic. Sauté until the mushrooms release their moisture and the onions become translucent, about 7-8 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, sautéed mushroom mixture, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.
- Transfer the meatloaf mixture into the greased loaf pan. Press it down firmly to remove any air pockets and shape it into a loaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve slices of the mushroom meatloaf with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. Enjoy!
