Ingredients

  • 2 ripe plantains, peeled and sliced into ½ inch thick pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the plantain slices to the butter and cook for 3-4 minutes, turning once, until lightly browned.
  3. Add the sugar and cinnamon to the plantains and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is melted.

  5. Season with salt to taste. Serve warm.
