Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mini M&M’s or colored sugar sprinkles
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Using a cookie scoop, scoop the cookie dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Press mini M&M’s or colored sugar sprinkles on the top of each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Let cool before serving.
