Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, sauerkraut, and salt and pepper. Mix together until evenly combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked through.
  4. Toast the buns in the same skillet and assemble the burgers with your favorite condiments.
