Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, and mix until just combined.
Stir in rolled oats and chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
Remove from oven, and let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
