Directions
- In a large pot, melt the bacon grease or butter over medium heat.

- Add the chicken broth and whisk to combine. Cook for 5 minutes, whisking constantly.
- Add the canned crushed tomatoes and whisk to combine. Cook for 10 minutes, whisking constantly.
- Add the sugar and whisk to combine. Cook for 1 minute, whisking constantly.
- Serve hot over biscuits, fried chicken, or on its own!
