Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 cups fresh rhubarb, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a 9x13-inch baking pan, pour melted butter and spread evenly.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix over the butter, spreading evenly.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine rhubarb, strawberries, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Mix to combine.
  5. Spread the rhubarb-strawberry mixture over the cake mix.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool before serving.
