Ingredients
1 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well blended.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown. Allow to cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
