Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 2 slices of bread, crumbled
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tablespoons oil for shallow frying

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, crumbled bread, green chilies, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a cutlet.
  3. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the cutlets and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
