Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the flour, poppy seeds and salt and mix until combined.
  4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
