Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in the flour, pecans, baking powder, salt, and baking soda until well blended.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before cutting into squares.
