Ingredients

  • 4 lbs of ripe pears
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Peel and core the pears, then cut them into small cubes.
  2. Combine the pears, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon in a large saucepan.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat and stir regularly.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
  6. Transfer the jam to jars and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
