Ingredients

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 (7-ounce) cans tuna, drained
  • 1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (14-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the oregano, basil, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add the tuna, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, white wine, and olives. Cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the parsley and cheese. Cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
