Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Lemon wedges for garnish
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- Dredge the shrimp in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, and then back in the flour mixture. Shake off any excess flour.
- In a large skillet or deep-fryer, heat the oil to 350 degrees F.
- Fry the shrimp in batches for 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove the shrimp from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
