Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar, vanilla extract, milk, and butter until light and fluffy.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  6. Form the dough into 1 inch (2.5 cm) balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly browned.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
