2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar, vanilla extract, milk, and butter until light and fluffy.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
Fold in the mini chocolate chips.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly browned.
Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Interesting Facts
Moon rocks are a classic treat that originated in the United States in the late 1800s.
They are also known as “Rocky Road” or “Crispy Cookies.”
The original recipe called for nuts, but this version omits them for a simpler treat.
