Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) of diced tomatoes
- 2 cups of beef broth
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon of oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain the excess fat.
- Add the onion, garlic, jalapeno, and bell pepper and cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the diced tomatoes, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and paprika. Stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Serve with warm tortillas and your favorite toppings.
