Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeno, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) of diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups of beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain the excess fat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, jalapeno, and bell pepper and cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and paprika. Stir to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  6. Serve with warm tortillas and your favorite toppings.
