Ingredients
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, oregano and red pepper flakes.
- Place salmon in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush salmon with the maple syrup mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Place into oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.
