Ingredients
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, oregano and red pepper flakes.
Place salmon in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush salmon with the maple syrup mixture.
Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Place into oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.
