Ingredients
- 1 kg mussels, cleaned and de-bearded
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/4 cup of white wine
- 1/4 cup of parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add the mussels and stir to coat with the garlic.
- Pour in the white wine and stir to combine.
- Cover the pot and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Uncover the pot and add the parsley. Stir to combine.
- Cover the pot and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Uncover the pot and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Serve immediately.
