Ingredients

  • 1 lb linguine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup diced ham
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the ham and mushrooms and cook until the mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the oregano, basil, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
  5. Drain the linguine and add it to the skillet. Stir to combine. Serve the linguine with the mushroom and ham mixture.
