Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 6-8 tea bags of your favorite flavor
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Add the tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and discard.
- Add the lemon juice and mint leaves and stir to combine.
- Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Strain the tea into a pitcher or other container and discard the solids.
- Chill the tea in the refrigerator until cold.
- Serve over ice.
