Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add lasagna noodles and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, garlic, oregano, and basil until beef is browned. Drain off the excess fat.
Add crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce to the skillet. Simmer for 15 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth.
To assemble the lasagna, spread 1/2 cup of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Arrange 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread with 1/2 of the ricotta cheese mixture, 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese, and 1/2 of the remaining meat sauce. Repeat layers and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
