Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of beef ribs
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and chili flakes. Whisk together until combined.
  2. Add the beef ribs to the marinade, stirring to coat. Cover the bowl and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of water. Stir until combined.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the marinated beef ribs and cook, stirring occasionally, until the ribs are browned on all sides, about 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
  7. Serve the ribs with steamed white rice and enjoy!
