Ingredients

  • 4 cups diced potatoes
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine potatoes, cheese, onions, bacon bits, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, milk, and butter. Pour mixture over potato mixture and mix until combined.
  4. Spread potato mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until potatoes are cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
