Ingredients
- 250g (8.8 oz) butter
- 250g (8.8 oz) powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 200g (7 oz) dark chocolate
- 200g (7 oz) milk chocolate
- 200g (7 oz) white chocolate
- 300g (10.5 oz) chocolate biscuits
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and powdered sugar until creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition.
- Sift in the cocoa powder and mix until well combined.
- Melt the dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate in separate heatproof bowls set over simmering water.
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Dip each chocolate biscuit into the melted chocolate and place it in the bottom of the pan to form a single layer.
- Spread a thin layer of the cocoa butter mixture over the biscuits.
- Continue layering the biscuits and cocoa butter mixture until all the ingredients are used, ending with a layer of biscuits on top.
- Cover the loaf pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until the cake is firm.
- Remove the cake from the pan and slice into thick pieces.
