Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 jalapenos, seeded and diced
- 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chiles
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Pat into the baking dish.
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add onion, garlic, jalapenos, and green chiles. Saute until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Add cream cheese and stir until cheese is melted. Spread mixture over ground beef.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and bake an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
