Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crust
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapenos
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
  2. Unroll the pie crust and cut into 12 small circles with a biscuit cutter.
  3. Press the circles into the muffin tin, making sure to press down the sides.
  4. Combine the jalapenos, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder and cumin in a bowl and mix until combined.
  5. Spoon the mixture into the tart shells.
  6. Brush the tops of the tarts with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake the tarts for 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
