Ingredients

  • Grits - 1 cup
  • Water - 4 cups
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Jalapeno peppers - 2
  • Monterey Jack cheese - 1 cup, shredded

  • Garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1/2 tsp

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the grits and salt to the boiling water, stirring continuously.
