This chocolate frosted marble cheesecake is a delightful treat for any special occasion or just a cozy night in. The creamy cheesecake filling is swirled with chocolate for a marble effect, and topped with a rich chocolate frosting.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter. Press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla with mixer until blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended.
- Pour 2/3 of the batter over crust. Add melted chocolate to remaining batter; drop by spoonfuls over plain batter. Swirl with knife.
- Bake 55 min. or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim.
- Microwave heavy cream in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min. or until it comes to boil. Add to chocolate in medium bowl; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Cool 20 min.; spread over cheesecake. Refrigerate 4 hours.
