Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine almond meal, sugar, and almond extract.
  2. Add the water and stir until a thick paste forms.
  3. Dust a work surface with powdered sugar and turn the marzipan out onto it.
  4. Knead the marzipan until it is smooth and pliable.
  5. Shape the marzipan into small balls or whatever shape you desire.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
