- 1 cup cake flour
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar

- Sift together cake flour, 3/4 cup sugar, and salt. Set aside.

- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 50 to 60 minutes, or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Invert pan; allow cake to hang until completely cool. If pan does not have prongs, invert over neck of a bottle.
