Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 9-inch refrigerated pie crust

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until cherries are evenly coated.
  3. Transfer cherry mixture to the prepared pie dish. Dot the top with the butter pieces.
