Ingredients

  • 4 pounds green tomatoes, diced
  • 4 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 package pectin

Directions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, combine tomatoes, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cloves. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add pectin and stir until completely dissolved.
  4. Bring mixture back to a boil and let boil for 1 minute.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Pour jelly into sterilized jars and seal. Let cool completely before serving.
