Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 shallots, finely diced
  • 4 oz. Prosciutto, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Directions

      1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
      2. Add the shallots and garlic and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
      3. Add the Prosciutto and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
      4. Add the green beans and oregano and cook until the beans are crisp-tender, about 8 minutes.
      5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
      6. Serve hot.
