Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shrimp, deveined and peeled
  • 1/4 cup gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the gochujang, butter, honey, garlic, sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
  2. Add the shrimp to the bowl and mix until the shrimp are coated in the sauce.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the shrimp and sauce. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are cooked through.
  4. Transfer the shrimp to a serving plate and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.
  5. Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
