Ingredients
- 20 large mushrooms
- 1/2 pound ground sausage
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, for garnish
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the stems from the mushrooms and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and drain any excess grease.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cooked sausage, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
