Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine or dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until the pork is cooked through.
  2. Add the mushrooms and cabbage and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice wine, and cornstarch. Add the mixture to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  4. Sprinkle with the green onions and serve hot.
