Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 8 equal squares.
- Mix together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth. Divide the mixture among the pastry squares.
- Top each pastry square with a sprinkle of walnuts.
- Beat the egg and milk together and brush the egg wash onto the edges of the pastry squares.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
