Ingredients

  • 1 pound of corned beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of celery seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 cup of beef broth
  • 1/2 cup of panko bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  4. Add the corned beef and brown for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add the spices and stir to combine. Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle the panko bread crumbs over the top of the mixture.
  8. Cover the Dutch oven and place in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
